BibGene 1.2.2 is created as a professional and useful BibTeX-compatible Macintosh application for maintaining databases of references to scientific papers. BibGene was designed with two purposes: To maintain BibTeX information in a cross-linked object-oriented format which makes it easier to detect and correct common mistakes such as multiple spellings of an author's or journal's name. To provide a way to store information that does not fit well into the BibTeX framework, such as citations from one paper to another, pointers to online preprints, and author addresses.

SPIRES Widget 1.1 is a freeware which lets you find out articles. You also get the citation information. slac.stanford.edu/spires is the High-Energy Physics Literature Database. You can enter your search string, press Enter and youre there! You can select from various output formats and sorting methods.

cb2Bib is a program that reads the clipboard text contents and process it against a set of predefined patterns.
If this automatic detection is successful, cb2Bib formats the clipboard data according to the structured BibTeX reference standard.
Otherwise, if no predefined format pattern is found or if detection proves to be difficult, manual data extraction is greatly simplified by cb2Bib. In most cases, such manual data extraction will provide with a new, personalized pattern to be included within the predefined pattern set for future automatic extractions.
Once the bibliographic reference is correctly extracted, it is added to a specified BibTeX database file. Optionally, article PDF files, if available, are renamed to its citeID and moved to a desired directory as a personal article library.

BibDesk is a graphical BibTeX-bibliography manager for Mac OS X. BibDesk is designed to help organize and use bibliographic databases in BibTeX .bib format.
In addition to manual typing, BibDesk lets you drag & drop or cut & paste .bib files into the bibliographic database and automatically opens files downloaded from PubMed. BibDesk also keeps track of electronic copies of literature on your computer and allows for searching your database through several keys.
BibDesk integrates well with TeX for creating citations and bibliographies. This integration includes a Citation search completion service, and drag & drop (cut & paste) support for adding citations to TeX files.
