Free better finder launcher software for mac

Internet Launcher 1.1.5 is impressive to users with the ability of operating faster and providing a lot more functionality than the original utility. Internet Launcher can interpret and save URLs in Netscape and Microsoft formats, and lets you create stand-alone Internet Shortcuts (mini-applications that work regardless of whether Internet Launcher is installed).

KDE Launcher is an AppleScript Studio application that starts a Fink install of KDE with functional settings that actually work for OS X without changing all X11’s configurations so it works poorly for everything else.

KDE Launcher is a software that runs KDE in a separate and distinct instance of X11 allowing the user to run KDE in an optimized environment using its window manager and with its own Dock icon, while simultaneously running other X11 applications in their regular Apple X11 using Apple’s quartz-wm for its Aqua look and feel and better speed.

KDE Launcher is not KDE or X11. It is only a configuration and startup utility for them so in order to run it needs to have those already installed. I use Apple’s X11 and Fink so that is what I created this to work with.

Battlefield 1942 Launcher (also known as BF1942 Launcher) is used to efficiently start up the game Battlefield 1942 with user customizable command line parameters, and even directly into a user-installed MOD.
Enhancements:
- You can specify any command line parameters to launch Battlefield 1942 with.
- Additionally, you can set it so that Battlefield 1942 will launch directly into a custom MOD, by selecting one from the popup box. These MODs are auto-detected when BF1942 Launcher is opened.
- Preferences have also been implemented, which allow you to set default command line arguments to be loaded into the arguments text field when BF1942 Launcher opens.

Quake 3 Launcher 1.0 has been developed as an effective way for you to select quit all applications and thereby helping free up as much of your physical memory as possible to later make loading Quake3 easier. This is used for for David's iMac. It has 160MB of ram and when you turn off VM the finder sucks up 44MB of the ram. When you loaded quake you would run out of free memory and the textures would not show up.

With Quake3 Launcher you can free up that extra memory. Quake3 Launcher takes up 64k of ram and when the finder is quit thats a lot better than the 44MB it used. With all that extra memory cleared up Quake3 runs perfectly.

Gimp Launcher can be used to launch Gimp if its installed through X11. Put it in the Dock or launch it with a QuicKeys or Spark shortcut. Save it as an Applescript application bundle and you can even include your own icon.

Completly freeware.

Finder Master is an AppleScript application to quit and relaunch the Finder which was written in response to a buggy and poorly designed 1 MB program which does the same thing.

Quitting the Finder gives you a few extra MB of RAM, and you can rebuild the desktop without restarting by holding down Command and Option while the Finder is instructed to relaunch.

Completly freeware.

Enhancements: Version 1.0.1: Fixed a problem, where Unreal Tournament 2004 couldn't be recognized.
