FolderProtector is a simple utility that will enable the user to make invisible the files and folders that one would like to enjoy some kind of privacy.

Completly freeware.

The Make Flat Side script will alter the shape of a text or picture box that has rounded corners (rounded corner or polygonal) so that one side is flat.

Select a rounded corner box and run the script. Enter 1 to make the top flat, 2 to make the bottom flat, 3 to make the left side flat, and 4 to make the right side flat.

Make Color Table is a FaceSpan project (requires full FaceSpan app or demo) that generates a labeled table of FaceSpans color indices. You can edit the X-Y increments to make a table of any size.

When done, take a screenshot of the window and use it as a visual guide of what color equals what number. Code unlocked, freeware, OK to improve/modify as long as you credit Russ.

Make alias of selection in... is an AppleScript that does exactly what the name says.
This is handy because it cuts out having to make an alias and then move it to where you want it.

Just select an item, choose a folder, and youre done. Also, the resulting alias doesnt have "alias" appended to its name.

Make mailing list rule is an AppleScript that enables you to make a new rule for a mailing list.

This script will create a folder for a mailing list, and create a rule to move incoming messages for that list into the folder, only if no folder or rule of the same name already exists. It makes the rule the second rule in the rule list--this is because many people have a kill file rule as the first rule.

The script makes the assumption that the To recipient is the list address. If that is not the case, do not use the script for that list. Unfortunately, there is no one characteristic common to all mailing lists that a script can use.
