The Virtual Speaker KEXT (kernel extension) for MacOS 10.2 fixes problems with the handling of sound on the Apple G4 Cube when the external USB speakers are not connected (since the Cube does not have a built in sound device). The extension runs under MacOS 10.2.x, and will create a virtual output audio engine which is selected by default in the sound control panel when no other audio device is detected. This extension will run on any model of hardware, and may prove useful for any model without a built in sound device.
This kernel extension should fix a number of issues caused by the lack of a sound output device which have been noted in iMovie, DVD Studio Pro, and other applications (including video capture errors, crashes when previewing DVD projects, automatic quit when launching some applications which require an audio output device, and other random misfortunes).
Enhancements:
- Corrected issue with VirtualSpeaker that was preventing the fix from working for games (and applications) using the Carbon SoundManager (the fIsMixable bit was set incorrectly for the 16 bit virtual audio format).
- Fixed a permissions issue caused by a setting in the install package that was ignored by the Installer program.

When selected, the DTMF tones are played through the Macs speakers. By holding the telephone recevier up against the speaker, one can use this functionality to automatically dial the phone.

HoldOn lets you use your build-in modem as a speaker phone to listen to the line while on Hold. All it does it pick up the line and hang up the line with a simple toggle button.
Note for those who are having some trouble getting it to work: if you are getting "event" type errors, chances are for some reason the scripting addition didnt get installed properly (as it should). You can install manually by downloading and installing the dialmodemOSAX.osax (http://osaxen.com/dialmodem.html)

PhoneTone'r 1.1 is an easy to use, high performance AppleScript application that will automatically dial any telephone number copied to the clipboard! It requires you to place the mouthpiece of your touch-tone phone close to your computer speaker. PhoneTone'r will convert a word number to its proper numerical format and also copy it back to the clipboard (in case you need to paste it into a document).

Ambisonics Player is a simple player for ambisonics files. Ambisonics Player is programmed in Java, which means that (in theory) should be able to run on all platforms that java runs on. Java-sound must also be implemented on the platform.
It has been developed on Windows XP running Java 1.5, and also tested on linux 64-bit system (Gentoo AMD64) using sun-jdk-1.5.0.03. So these combinations should be fine. I dont think it works with earlier java-versions than 1.5, atleast not very good.
