History Submenus 2.01
History Submenus is a versatile Firefox add-on which places each days entire browsing history in a submenu of the history menu more>>
History Submenus 2.01 is a versatile Firefox add-on which places each day's entire browsing history in a submenu of the history menu. Formerly named History Menu, this extension aims to make the History menu more usable, and the history sidebar less necessary. The extension adds a submenu for each day and lists all sites visited on that day, rather than just the last ten sites visited... as is in the standard History menu. Some of the extension's behavior may be changed through its preferences.
SPEED-UP tip: You can speed up the history menus substantially by turning off display of favicons in the extension's preferences (available in version 2 and above)
Enhancements:
- Adds a preference to change submenu labels between actual date and "days ago" formats.
- Code now updates menus when user is not using the history menu... so it should seem more responsive.
- If the extension still feels slow on your machine, there is now an option to TURN OFF FAVICON use in the history menus. This makes the history menu draw itself MUCH faster.
