AbiWord is a free word processing program similar to Microsoft Word. It is suitable for typing papers, letters, reports, memos, etc. It is designed to integrate perfectly with the operating system it runs on. It will take advantage of the functionality provided by the system, such as image loading or printing capabilities.

Memo Spoken Numbers generates and speaks out numbers, which you should try to remember. Afterwards you type in the numbers as you remembered them, and see which numbers you remembered correctly.
You can choose how many numbers you want and the delay in milliseconds. You use this program to train your memory.
Memo Spoken Numbers is developed in Python, pygame and PyQt4 and will probably run almost any place Python and PyQt4 runs.

QueueMemo 1.2.1 offers an innovative, versatile memo software. QueueMemo is a memo to put on the specific application. When application becomes active, the memo attached for the application appears. A memo can customize a background color and transparency. Those setup values can be registered as a default value.

The ScheduleOnline Mac OS X Conduit beta was built for many of our Macintosh OS X based Palm users. Currently, it will allow you to synchronize your Palm device (Address Book, Date Book, To Do List and Memo Pad) with your ScheduleOnline (Contacts, Calendar, To Do List and Memo) account.

SnapClip is designed to be more like memo tool rather than screen capture tool.
The captured image can be copied to the Clipboard, or saved into various format file including picture clipping, JPEG, TIFF, PICT, etc. If you save the image to picture clipping file with thumbnail icon, you can easily see what kind of image without using any applications. Thats why I use the words memo tool.

MoosePad X 10.3.1 is written to be a helpful program which can substitute Apple's Note Pad and ScrapBook and unlike Stickies does not require you to keep all of your notes open. MoosePad also supports Speech and Multiple Memo Databases.

MoosePad is a great utility for anyone who may reuse large amounts of text, or store an inventory of product serial numbers and software activation codes. Memos are not stored in clear text and can be password protected.
