Satellite Images is a free Dashboard widget that will display an animation of the latest satellite images of North and South America, including the Pacific and North Atlantic oceans.
Users can choose how fast the images rotate, how many images an animation includes and which area will be displayed.

MacOSaiX is a small program that allows you to apply a Mosiac effect to images, making them turn into a bunch of squares that make of the image.
Images can be automatically discovered from the following types of sources:

- iPhoto albums or keywords

Nikon Capture Editor:
1. Support for RAW images captured with the D2Hs has been added.

Long Exposure Noise Reduction: changed from Off or Fixed pattern to Off or On
High ISO Noise Reduction: changed from Off or On to Off, On (Normal), or On (High) (D2X and D2Hs only)
3. The following changes have been made to the Straighten function (Image menu>Rotate).
The shape of the Draw Level cursor has been changed.
The function has been changed so that the image is rotated immediately after the Draw Level line is drawn or as the degree of rotation is entered in Rotation text box.
Nikon Capture Control
1. Support for the D2Hs has been added.
2. The Noise Reduction checkbox in the Image Processing panel has been changed to a pop-up menu offering selection from Off, On (Normal), and On (High) options. (D2X and D2Hs only)

Drag-N-Scale is a simple application that makes scaling images easy. It can also email scaled images with the click of a button.
Drag-N-Scale is freeware.
Using Drag-N-Scale:
To open an image in Drag-N-Scale, drop the image on Drag-N-Scales icon, use the "+" button on the drawer, or drag an image file onto the drawers list area.
To open a folder of images drop the folder containing the image files on the Drag-N-Scale icon or, if Drag-N-Scale is open, click the camera icon to select a folder of images.
Once an image is displayed in the image area you can scale the image by resizing the window. To resize the window drag the grow widget at the bottom, right corner of the window.
When you have scaled the image to the desired size you have the following options:
1. Email the scaled image.
- click the "Email photo(s)" button on the toolbar
2. Save the scaled image.
Drag the scaled image from the Drag-N-Scale window to your desktop or a finder folder or click the hard drive icon and select "Save copy of scaled photo as...". If more than one image is listed in the drawer you can save all of the listed images at the currently scaled size by choosing "Save scaled copies of all photos..." from the menu that appears when you click on the hard drive icon.
3. Drag and drop the scaled image to another application.
This is helpful if you want to use the scaled image in any application that accepts image drops (other email programs, image editors, web page creation software, word processing documents, etc.)

iSMI 1.0 is a very tractable and powerful AppleScript which will make a self mounting disk image from any combination of files or disk images giving the option to make an image for each file or combining all into one image.

Scale N Mail is a simple application that makes scaling images easy. It can also email scaled images using Apple Mail or Microsoft Entourage. Scale N Mail is freeware.
This is helpful if you want to use the scaled image in any application that accepts image drops (other email programs, image editors, web page creation software, word processing documents, etc.)
Main features:
- You scale an image by resizing the Scale N Mail window.
- Image proportions are preserved.
- Once you have scaled the image to the desired size you have the following options:
- 1 mail the scaled image. - select the email application by clicking the appropriate radio button at the top , right of the window (Mail or Entourage) - click the "Create email message" button on the toolbar
- 2 Save the scaled image. Drag the scaled image from the Scale N Mail window to your desktop or a finder folder or click the "Save scaled photo" button on the toolbar.
- 3 Drag and drop the scaled image to another application.

Disk Image Droplet is a droplet that makes compressed disk images of files/folders dropped on it.
Main features:
- Created disk images will be located in the same folder as the file(s), folder(s) dropped.
- If more than one file or folder is dropped, a disk image will be created for each dropped item.
- It should work for Mac system versions 10.2 and later.
- No indication of progress is displayed. I usually keep it in the Dock so that I can drag items to it there and note when it has quit by the appearance of the Dock icon (the droplet quits when finished).
- Created disk images will be in compressed read-only format.
