iTunes Tracker is a client application which allows users to connect to a database of shared iTunes 4 libraries.

The database is based on how many people are connected and have iTunes 4 sharing enabled. This list is displayed on your computer allowing you to access any of the shared iTunes library on the list. A simple user interface allows easy navigation and reduces the amount of window clutter.

iTunes Tracker detects if youre sharing your iTunes library. If your library is shared then your address is added to the list of shared iTunes libraries. This list is downloaded when a client connects to the central server. The more shared libraries the longer the list. With more users comes more selections and so on.

Note: The package contains only thes source code and must be compiled to use it.

Radiologik Scheduler uses iTunes as its database utilizing playlists and particularly smart playlists for song selection with its own top logic using a weekly schedule.
Currently the free Scheduler Basic is in beta and supports picks and fills from iTunes playlists with time instructions, artist separation, unique track checking, and best fit top of the hour placement for station IDs.
Scheduler Advanced is in development to support dynamic voice-over construction, date matching, time announcements and will sell separately later in 2007.

New to iTunes is a simple widget that allows you to view the newest albums just added to the iTunes Online Store.

iTOC generates a TOC file for use with the AudioTron based on data extracted from iTunes. iTOC is an AppleScript Studio application with an embedded Perl script which parses the iTunes database file iTunes Music Library.xml and outputs the TOC file. This project is free and open source. You may download either the application itself or the entire project including the source code.
If you use iTunes as for ripper/encoder/librarian and your Mac as a file server for your AudioTron, then this application is for you. If you dont know what a TOC file is, let me try to explain. When the AudioTron starts up from a "cold boot", it scans for music files on the share that youve set up to build its internal database of playable items. This scan can take a long time if you have a lot of music files. The TOC file allows the AudioTron to read the file rather than scanning the share to build its internal database. This makes the process about 10 times faster.
