R 2.9.1
GNU S statistical computing and graphics. more>>
R 2.9.1 is a wonderful maths and science tool which is used for statistical computing and graphics. It is a GNU project which is similar to the S language and environment which was developed at Bell Laboratories (formerly AT&T, now Lucent Technologies) by John Chambers and colleagues. R can be considered as a different implementation of S. There are some important differences, but much code written for S runs unaltered under R.
R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, bioinformatics, ...) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible. The S language is often the vehicle of choice for research in statistical methodology, and R provides an Open Source route to participation in that activity.
One of R's strengths is the ease with which well-designed publication-quality plots can be produced, including mathematical symbols and formulae where needed. Great care has been taken over the defaults for the minor design choices in graphics, but the user retains full control.
R is available as Free Software under the terms of the Free Software Foundation's GNU General Public License in source code form. It compiles and runs out of the box on a wide variety of UNIX platforms and similar systems (including FreeBSD and Linux). It also compiles and runs on Windows 9x/NT/2000 and MacOSX.
Gold Price 4.0
Gold Price - Get the latest price of an ounce or gram of gold. more>> Gold Price - Get the latest price of an ounce or gram of gold.
Gold Price Widget checks the current price of a troy ounce of gold (or gram) every 30 minutes and displays its value.

The sound played can also be set for each of these thresholds. The theme and size drop downs will allow you to change the coin and denomination shown. Price will not be affected by any section made here, for that use the Currency drop down. More about that below. If your interested in using your own images, see the section on hacking.
The next setting controls how the price of gold is to be displayed. The choices include the price in troy ounces or grams or you can display grams or ounces per unit of currency. The currency drop down lets you display the price of gold in 23 different currencies along with any available currency symbol that is also supported by HTML.
For some of the more devalued currencies there may not be any decimal points. Finally, Gold Price widget, from time to time, will check for updates and notify you when a new widget is available for download by displaying a blue arrow (see fig 3). Click this arrow to view the widgets web page. For those who wear tin foil hats, you can turn this feature off by unchecking "Check for updates".
Enhancements
- Changed Themes
- Added sizes of coins
- Added ability to display price in other currencies
- Fixed user scripts
Choice 0.1.3
Simple little gem for easily defining and parsing command line options with a friendly DSL more>> QuickUML is a software design tool that tightly integrates a core set of UML models with code generation for several languages. An entire project is presented through a tabbed window that includes use cases, class models, object models, dictionary and code and saved as an XML file. Use cases document user interactions with the system and link to models, code, foreign files or other use cases. Class models may contain classes, interfaces, components, packages and other objects. Sequence diagrams illustrate how objects interact with emphasis on the order in which things occur. QuickUML contains advanced features for multiple language projects, design namespaces, UML stereotype extensions, flexible color support, custom detail fields and automated generation of class models from the dictionary. An integrated code manager enables the designer to navigate through code files linked to use cases and diagram objects.<<less

iDecide 1.0
iDecide - Find the most rational decision you need by predicting which option you should choose more>>
This will help you find the most rational decision you need by predicting which option you should choose.
iDecide will ask you to questions like how much its worth for you and how much it hurts if you fail. Then it computes what is expected to give the most happiness.
The program uses the Expected-utility theory (Baron, 1994) to compute which choices are expected to give you most utility. If you always use this method to make your choices youll be statistically happiest. In order for it to work you must have different options or goals that you can estimate how easy they are to accomplish, how much happiness theyll give you and how much it hurts if you fail. This program will do the rest for you.
