Space is a 2D scrolling 3rd person shooter. It is designed so that you can make your own levels, and there is a low quality level editor included.

The key configuration is configurable and it saves the top 10 scores for each set of levels. Currently there is no encryption on the levels or level sets and you are free to edit them and make new ones.

If you change or make a level you must take full responsibility for its content and give credit for all the work on it not done by you unless you have gotten permission from them. If you make levels that you would like to share please send them to me using the contact window in space so we can distribute them with space.

Connect 4 allows you to play the classic Connect Four game with another person via email.

Quake II is the popular first-person shoot-em-up game that has been ported to MacOS X. The download includes the software and OpenGL renderer plug-ins.

The Castle is a first-person shooter style game in a dark fantasy setting. Your main weapon is a sword, so the fight is mostly short-range. 3 main levels included, packed with creatures, items and sounds.

Also a bonus level, from a well-known 3D game, will be available to you from New Game menu once you finish the main game (you may also switch to this level from the debug menu, if youre impatient).

Enhancements:

Sauerbraten (a.k.a. Cube 2) is a free multiplayer/singleplayer first person shooter, built as a major redesign of the Cube FPS.

Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is not necessarily to produce the most features & eyecandy possible, but rather to allow map/geometry editing to be done dynamically in-game, to create fun gameplay and an elegant engine.

The engine supporting the game is entirely original in code & design, and its code is Open Source (ZLIB license, read the docs for more on how you can use the engine).

Sauerbraten has engine that is being used for an RPG which is in the preproduction phase. Additionally, Proper Games ltd are the first to use the engine commercially. dot3 labs is a company started by the creators of sauerbraten that offers commercial support.
