All Your Base Are Belong to Us (Mac) is a very serviceable tool which is designed specially for mature audiences only.
The stories you are about to see will forever change your life and will affect the way you look at things you had previously taken for granted.
What you are about to see is photographic proof of a conspiracy so large and so complicated that the depth to which society is involved and the complete story behind the facts are still unknown.
LongPlayer 1.01
LongPlayer is a program that automatically fills your Winamp, XMMS or iTunes playlist more>>
Those of you who have converted all of your CDs into mp3s (or wma/ogg/..) and try to shuffle songs in your big, static all-containing playlist will surely know the "hey, I already heard this song an hour ago!" problem.
That random function just doesnt seem random enough! The main reason for this is the birthday-problem: the chances that you hear a particular song twice in, say the same day, are quite small, but the odds of ANY song playing twice in that timespan, are real, very real. Your typical media player just selects a random song from a statically generated list without saving where it last left off.
LongPlayers smart queuing checks how long it has been since you heard a song, how good you think a song is and what genre you think it belongs in.
Main features:
- works with WinAmp, XMMS and iTunes
- dynamic playlists: make random, always-up-to-date playlists in a matter of seconds: just include the directories you want to hear; theres no need to add newly downloaded music.
- rate your songs and assign a genre from a continuous spectrum
- smart queuing: always hear the music you want to hear, based on:
- the last time you heard it
- the rating and genre
- advanced searching capabilities
- lots of other stuff, e.g. automatic trimming of playlists, remote control, DJ function, XML database, mIRC integration, etc.
Enhancements:
- fixed crashes when there are no playlists
you heard a song, how good you think a song is and what genre you think it belongs in. Major ... , you can specify a song or soundbite to be queued every x songs. It is possible to search for songsabcFonts 1.0

Branding Iron 1.0
Branding Iron - Associate Spotlight keywords to files more>>
With Branding Iron, you can mark your files and get the most out of Spotlight and Smart Folders. Imagine you want to label a dozen of files as belonging to "Project Brinkman". The traditional way to organize them is to put them in a folder called Project Brinkman But now, with Branding Iron and Spotlight, you can just mark them, store them in whatever folder or hard disk (for example, by category : Accounting, Budget, Engineering, Artworks, ...) and then create a Smart Folder called "Project Brinkman". Automagically, your files will be here. You can move them, modify them, rename them. They will be marked forever.
Enhancements:
- Discontinued.
- Re-released as freeware including source code.
- Anybody can continue developing it.

Liaison 0.4.2
Liaison is a file-browsing application, in the vein of iTunes. If you can use iTunes to browse your MP3 collection, you should be able to use Liaison to browse your file collection more>> Liaison is a file-browsing application, in the vein of iTunes. If you can use iTunes to browse your MP3 collection, you should be able to use Liaison to browse your file collection. Liaison maintains your file collection in a local library, named, "My Computer", and groups that belong to your library. Groups are the Liaison correllary to iTunes playlists, and you should be able to treat them as such. Remote libraries are browsed in a similar way, with remote libraries appearing in the group list. Clicking on the library name will show you all the shared files in the remote library, and clicking on a remote group will display all the files in the remote group. You can also select files by searching for them by typing in the "Search" field in the tool bar. This also works just as iTunes search.
Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
Version 0.4.2:
- Added help.
- Project split up for future open source plans.
- A lot of old code culled.
- You can unsort your file list by clicking on the header.
- Editing files now works consistently with the sort and search.

- Fixed bugs with groups being assigned incorrectly.
- Added contextual menus to the file and group panels.
- Fixed dimming of menus and toolbars with two exceptions: the "Open" and "Show in Finder" menu items dont work properly when the group list is the first responder.

SubSync will save you tedious copy-pasting by renaming the subtitles (.srt files) with the same name as the corresponding videos more>>
SubSync will save you tedious copy-pasting by renaming the subtitles (.srt files) with the same name as the corresponding videos (.avi files).
THIS SCRIPT DOES NOT SYNCHRONIZE VIDEO AND SOUND IN ANY WAY.
Notes: When there are multiple pairs of files {video.avi, subtitle.srt} in the folder :
- The number of .avi files must be equal to the number of .srt files otherwise an error dialog will appear.
- The files must belong to the same series (season) with all the episodes named and numbered
- The numbering and naming format used in the file names must be the same for each file type (.srt and .avi).
In particular, the numbering format of the episodes must be the same for a given file type, even if it is different between the .avi files and the .srt files.
- The general header of the series and the episode number must always precede the title of the episode itself.
- If you choose te rename the files with the number of the episode rather than the title of the episode, the folder to process must contain the totality of the episodes who will be renamed from first : E1, E2, E3, etc
Enhancements:
- You can choice the format of the name : title of the serie or title of the episode.
