getTunes.command was a little script which listens to iTunes daap streams. It would capture the required session id, ip address, song path and validation code and used wget to do a standard GET from the host computer.
Everything was done by standard Unix command line tools and no cracking was done to any of the network streams (a neat demonstration of the OSXs Unix power).
getTunes is a tool designed to be a more user friendly implementation written in java.

Arcana will generate passwords based on a combination of dictionary words, punctuation and numbers. In order to do this Arcana uses a format specified as a set of numbers and letters separated by commas.
But arent passwords containing dictionary words easy to crack?
Not necessarily. If a sufficiently long and complex password is used then even a brute force attack would take so long to achieve that the attacker would give up before succeeding.
Arcanas goal is to use this fact to generate a password which is memorable but still strong because it contains a random assortment of words which will generally be joined by equally random numbers and punctuation.
If you find number sequences easy to remember (who doesnt?), Arcana can also be used to create a password containing only numbers. Equally, Arcana can create a password containing only dictionary words or punctuation but for most people these arent as memorable as a combination of all three.

This program will install and remove a 3rd party identd program and an xinetd entry for it.
This program is licensed under the GPL, but 3rd parties are encouraged to include it in their programs (even if proprietary) if it would be of use to them (such as IRC clients). Note that this does not include the included identd script or auth entry.
The only bug (that I consider it as that is), is that I cant figure out how to restart xinetd from inside the program using the authorization method I use. So it will tell you that you must restart, when you just have to restart xinetd. Take a crack at this if you want :-)
