Free barcode maker software for mac

BCE is a little app that I wrote in my spare time when I first got a barcode reader. Its designed to help with looking up informaton on books and other items with barcodes.

BCE supports the UPC-a, ISBN and Borders BINC barcode formats.

Scanning a barcode with an ASCII barcode scanner, or inputing the code data manually, brings up a little window with all the information obtainable from the barcode, and options for places online to look up information. BINC codes also present which store it was purchased from.

Barcode Font Package will help you manage code EAN, UPC, 128, 39, 2/5, Postnet, Codabar.
Code 128 EAN/UCC
To create a Code 128 EAN/UCC simply select the code from the list in either the "Single Barcode" or the "Batch Conversion" Pane. The code generator will create all necessary conversion characters to create the smallest possible outline. Use the "~" to encode non-printable characters, e.g. to encode a TAB, enter "~009".
Note: Code 128 and its variations (EAN/UCC/GS1 - they all mean the same) is ALWAYS used with a checksum. If the generated code does not scan, make sure that you checked the "Checksum" box.
Code 39 Extended
Code 39 Extended will be generated automatically after selecting Code 39 if the generator finds a cahacter that can only be used in Code 39 Extended, e.g. asmall caps. Use the "~" to encode non-printable characters, e.g. to encode a TAB, enter "~009".
Note: Make sure your barcode scanner will actually scan Code 39 Extended. This is not a given!
Enhancements:
- Support for Code 128 EAN/UCC and Code 39 Extended.
Version restrictions:
- The trial version of the software will place the word EVAL near the barcode. Nevertheless the code will scan just fine.

Name Maker 1.0b is a program to make names through the use of Rule Files. (You can find more information on this system, and its original implemenation) It is Mac OS X-only, and has a clean, simple interface.

Noise Maker is a freeware tool that will generate a RGB/grayscale noise map.

barCode Creator is a simple EAN13 bar codes generator with EPS and PDF export.
Enhancements:
- Corrected the bug wich caused a bad checksum with the "00000000000" string.

Client Folder Maker is simple and easy to use folder management tool for the busy desktop publisher, prepress operator or web designer. It allows you to set up special client folders that are used consistently from project to project, based on that customers name and job number.

Client Folder Maker utilizes a very simple approach to building up custom folder names, with support folders used in any job. While the script has a very small footprint, there is also a preferences pane which allows you to add, rename, or delete folders in the job hierarchy, as well as establish a target working folder which would be used for archives. The archives folder can be on your desktop, or on a share.
