nShell 1.5.1 b1
nShell - Command line app more>>
This version does not change anything from the original release, except it allows for compiliation for PowerPC, and touts a Codewarrior project. I released this, again, because it is one of the best command line processors I have seen for the Macintosh, and is very expandable, which is why I have use for it. (I make many command line tools for the Macintosh, and really hate using MPW because it is such a big application.)

MD5shot 2.1b1
MD5shot is a utility to quickly get the md5 hash of a string or file without a trip to the terminal more>>
MD5shot offers quick reference for MD5 hashes.
MD5shot is a front-end to the MD5 hashing utility. But in version 2, theres much more than that. In addition to getting the hash (unique identifier) of a file or string (for example, you can paste in the text to Hamlet), you can compare strings or files to determine whether their contents are the same, and even run a file integrity check by comparing a files hash to the hash of a known good file. Finally, you can select text or a file, and use the MD5shot service to get the hash of it. Unlike before, its finally working.
Enhancements:
- Functionally identical to 2.0, except its a Universal Application now (hopefully, hence the b1).

Notational Velocity 2.0 b1
Notational Velocity is said to be a useful application that stores and retrieves notes. more>>
Notational Velocity 2.0 b1 is said to be a useful application that stores and retrieves notes. In Notational Velocity, the same area is used both for creating notes and searching. I.e., in the process of entering the title for a new note, related notes appear below, letting users file information there if they choose. Likewise, if a search reveals nothing, one need simply press return to create a note with the appropriate title. Its unique advantages are as follows:
Major Features:
- Modeless Operation: Searching for notes is not a separate action; rather, it is the primary interface.
- Incremental Search: Searching encompasses all notes' content and occurs instantly with each key pressed.
- Transparent Database Encryption: All content is compressed and encrypted (enabled optionally) before it is recorded to disk.
- Mouseless Interaction: Notational Velocity's window was designed for keyboard input above all else, and thus has no buttons.
- Data Instead of Documents: There is no manual "saving" in Notational Velocity; all modifications take effect immediately
Enhancements:
- Fully 64-bit native (thanks to Brian Bergstrand)
- Added "New Note With Selection" Services menu item
- Fixed a bug with accent keys in certain keyboard layouts
- The default encoding for text files is now UTF-8. Notes using the system encoding will be upgraded.
- Extended attributes are used to provide text encoding hints to QuickLook and TextEdit.
- The Import menu item command allows using the file creation date as the "Date Added".
- Fixed a sorting issue when the sorting column was hidden
- Deleting part of an auto-completed title will deselect the note.
- Database file is verified while writing to disk to avoid corruption
- Command to insert auto-generated passwords into a note
- Importing of tab-separated-value files (e.g., from Pastor)
- Now using Sparkle version 1.5b6
- "Show Bookmarks" menu item toggles to "Hide Bookmarks"
- Allow option-dragging to copy note files when notes are stored as separate files
- Many memory leaks fixed
Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.3.9 - 10.6

shootShifter 2.0 is launched to be a creative and simple-to-use utility which helps to redate and rename complete folders of images based on the EXIF-data or finder-dates. With the preview-timeline its quite easy to synchronize several folders that were taken with differing camera-dates.
Enhancements:
- [fixed since b1] added support for another rare image-file special-case where the EXIF-date was not recognized
- [fixed since b1] fixed a few minor ui-issues concerning images without or with empty EXIF-tag
- [fixed since b1] fixed a bug that could prevent a multi-thumb drag-selection with the mouse
- [updated since b1] a few drag-selection optimizations and performance improvements
