Apple Server Admin Tools 10.6 is a perfectly designed program which contains remote administration tools, documentation, and utilities that you can install on a computer other than your server.

Major Features:

1. Server Preferences and Server Status widget: The Server Preferences application and Server Status widget are for remote administration and monitoring of your server and key services including file sharing, address books, calendaring, instant messaging, mail, web, and virtual private networking.
2. Server Admin: The Server Admin application is for remote administration of one or more servers. It can be used to install and setup Mac OS X Server on a remote computer, manage file share points, configure service settings, monitor server activity, and provide detailed logging information for each of the running services.
3. Server Monitor: Server Monitor is for the remote monitoring and management of one or more Xserve systems.
4. Workgroup Manager: Use Workgroup Manager to remotely manage users, groups, and computer accounts in advanced server deployments. Workgroup Manager is also used to set and manage preferences for Mac OS X users.

8. QuickTime Broadcaster: Use QuickTime Broadcaster along with QuickTime Streaming Server to produce professional-quality live events. The QuickTime Broadcaster application can be used to capture live audio and video streams and transmit them to QuickTime Streaming Server for redistribution.

rBackup is a command-line program that uses a whole new approach to backup formats. It stores the backups on disk images, and uses shadow files to perform differential updates. A shadow file can be thought of as an "overlay" that allows you to add files to an existing disk image without modifying it. This allows you to create differential backups in a MUCH smaller file, while leaving the original full backup in its original condition.
This program is currently command-line only, and can be scheduled to run automatically using cron. A GUI version will be available in the future. Read more on my website.

- added showfiles option - this causes rbackup to print a list of all files that would be copied, without actually performing the backup. ( Note: this will create an empty shadow file if run in diff mode )
- Fixed bug where the images created by date backups were not stored properly.

New Metaphor was originally released as a comprehensive system-replacement icon set for Mac OS 8.5 - 9.x. It attempted to replace the office/desktop approach to user-computer interaction with something more horticultural. Interesting though the experiment was, OS X has changed enough of the Mac file system that most of the conventions have been rendered obsolete.

However, I felt the images themselves could still contribute something to the Aqua experience, and chose the most compelling designs for a 128x128 enhancement.

Chiba provides an Java implementation of the W3C XForms standard, thereby delivers generic, XML-based form-processing on any Java-capable platform either client- or serverside.

- hiba Web 3 is a new major release of the Chiba server-side XForms implementation, coming with a brand new JavaScript layer, improved XForms 1.1 support, localisation, XPath 2.0 and more.
- Chiba is now using Dojo Toolkit Version 1.2.3 (latest) which vastly exceeds the quality of the UI. The completely rewritten JavaScript layer already comes with compilation and CDN support allowing you to load many parts of the application libs from Google. Dojo components can be seemlessly integrated with XForms processing to add the last missing pieces that make up a full application. - Large parts of the Core processor and the Web layer have been heavily refactored and now provide a cleaner API and simplified parts of the Code. Extensibility of the Java API has been greatly improved. - The CSS system has been reworked for consistency and theres new documentation available.
