MacFC English X 0.8.1e is a simple to use, yet sophisticated Japanese Nintendo NES / Famicom emulator.

MacFC is different than other Mac NES emulators, such as RockNES and Nestopia.

MacFC doesn't have:

• Custom video filters, such as HQ2X or 2xSAI
• Direct Game Genie Code support (you could still "burn" codes into your ROMs to use them)
• Native gamepad support in Mac OS X (You'll need GamePad Companion or something.)

The bundle for MacFC has the following effects:

• Icons are all .icns 128x128 format
• Icons can show if the ROM or disk image is compressed if they have the appropriate filename extension
• MacFC can no longer easily be launched in Mac OS 9 (or earlier) or the Classic environment (Use the Classic Version of MacFC in Classic.)

Apimac PAD Editor is a PAD (Portable Application Description) file editor. PAD files help software authors to provide product descriptions and specifications to online sources in a standard way, using a standard data format that allow webmasters and program librarians to automate program listings. Unlike other PAD editors, Apimac PAD Edit is fully XML compliant and fully PAD specifications compliant. The program uses a smart engine to directly obtain information about the PAD files from the PAD specification XML file (padspec.xml), including names, descriptions, field length, allowed characters and format. A window will let you know instantaneously if what you wrote is valid according to the specifications, or not. Theres no need to use external PAD validation services, the program checks for the validity of fields every time you leave one.
