As its name implies, Mac Remote Control is an application that allows you to control a Mac remotely.
Mac Remote Control shows you a list of the applications currently running on the remote Mac.
You can quit any or all of the applications currently running, and launch other ones. You can also restart, shut down or put to sleep the machine. New in version 1.1 is the ability to wake up a sleeping Mac. Finally there is a convenience built in to toggle the active state of OSXvnc.
If the Mac can be accessed over TCP/IP on your local area network (LAN) or over the Internet, and its configured correctly, Mac Remote Control can control it.

Under Mac OS 9 you could control-click an image file and use it as a desktop image. Under Mac OS you have to go to the System Prefs, click Desktop Pictures and then drag (or otherwise select) the file you want on your desktop.

AppSwitcher Control is a handy application which allows you to customize the appearance and behavior of the Application Switcher in Mac OS 8.5.

Gamma Control is a Mac OS X application that gives you the possibility to adjust the gamma correction curve of the screen.

Use the application to calibrate the screen for new ambiant conditions without having to use the ColorSync Calibration Assistant.
You can save your multiple settings in documents and retrieve them when needed. The settings you change are not saved into the current ColorSync profile and are restored when you quit Gamma Control.
