At Ease for Workgroups 5.0.1 provides the following improvements. The At Ease server now better handles multiple simultaneous connections. At Ease prevents the system file on a workstation from being corrupted. You can now use an AppleShare IP 5.0.2 Web server to allow users to access the At Ease server from the Internet. Compatibility issues have also been addressed with WebSTAR 2.1. You can now run the At Ease Web services on the same machine as the At Ease server. At Ease clients with AppleShare Client version 3.7 or greater installed now connect properly to AppleShare IP server volumes using TCP/IP. At Ease for Workgroups version 5.0.1 is compatible with Mac OS version 8.1 with the exception that the disk security feature, when used with extended disk volumes (also known as HFS+), will do nothing. At Ease 5.0.1 now allows you the option of running the web server on the same machine as your At Ease server.

Betrayal at Krondor is a classic DOS adventure game from Dynamix software.
I am making available a stand-alone Mac OS X application bundle for the old fantasy role-playing game Betrayal at Krondor from Dynamix.
Betrayal at Krondor, which is originally a DOS game, was released as freeware a few years after its release to promote the sequel.
The game naturally does not run natively in Mac OS X -- it is run transparently through the DOSBox emulator, an open-source project which creates a DOS-like virtual environment from which old games can run without compatibility problems.
Unfortunately, DOSBox is quite slow, so in order to run the game with decent responsiveness, I recommend that all graphics be set to minimum quality and game sounds and music be entirely switched off.
