Aviation Weather 1.2.10 is a widget supplying you with current weather conditions and weather forecasts. The widget shows weather data (METAR and TAF) which is used by pilots for their flight preparations.
"Aviation Weather" lets you choose any airport weather stations from its built-in database by either name or ICAO (4-letter) code. Data will be shown in its original format or translated into easy understandable texts. You can define up to 4 preset stations.

Then it downloads the weather maps for your region. It creates a folder on your desktop called Weather to store the maps.
It then creates a sub folder for that download labeled with the date. It stores the maps for the day in that folder. "Weather Map" will ask you if you would like to keep the maps. If you dont want to save the maps, "Weather Map" will delete them for you.

Canadian Weather Information is a Dashboard widget that will allow the user to reference the current weather conditions and 5-day weather report for all major Canadian cities available from Weather Canadas Weather Office web site.
The weather information will be updated as frequently as the widget window is opened.
The widget supports English and French locales.
Note: This widget has not been endorsed by WeatherOffice or Environment Canada in any way. Please read the Copyright information linked to by the widget.
Main features:
- Double-click on the main panel to switch between text and graphical forecasts.
- Windchill (when present) is displayed under the current temperature in blue.
- Humidex (when present) is displayed under the current temperature in red.
- Current weather image (when present for the location).
- Weather warnings result in the location to be displayed in red.
- Clicking on the location text will take you to the web page provided by Weather Office.
- A pop-up menu in the back allows the user to set what interval the widget updates at if it is constantly displayed.
- Air quality information: for locations for which Weather Office reports Air Quality Information (Toronto, for example) the current temperature reading will be colored according to the color scheme that Weather Office uses for pollution (link): blue means low, red means high.

To choose a map, just flip to the back to choose a location--from the Northeast to the Southwest, and everything in between, plus additional maps covering the entire globe and every continent. The maps from Weather.com are actually a series of 5 images, so this eliminates the need for one to go to 5 different URLs and download the maps individually. The maps from AccuWeather are layered, so that the overlays (roads, names, markers) are each seperate image files from the actual map.
This downloads all the necessary image files so that you can put them together in an image/video editor (Photoshop, FCP).

NOAA Weather Center widget is a powerful, and fun way to get all the weather information you need. Just enter your address, city, or zip code and you get instant access to animated radar, forecasts, current conditions, and important weather alert bulletins.
All of the data comes straight from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations National Weather Service.
The NOAA Weather Center widget gets all of its data from NOAAs National Weather Service, which is a United States government agency (see the disclaimer for more information). That means that it should work almost anywhere in the United States or its territories.
However, since it also uses the service at GeoCoder.us to get location data (translating your address or city into latitude and longitude coordinates), it wont work in places that GeoCoder.us does not have the necessary information for.
