The first application, iTunes Song List, will create a list of all of the songs in any playlist you select from your iTunes library. NOTE: iTunes must be the front running application in order for these apps to work. There are lots of switchers that can make this happen (there are also some workarounds I can share as well, but they are harder to configure, so not documented here).

The Music N*** 1.7 is an application being served as an alternative to iTunes and being suitable for parties. It lets your guests queue up songs while locking the screen (kiosk mode) and disabling the playback controls.
The Music N*** should be able to play iTunes Music Store files (those with DRM), but I havent tested this because Ive never bought any songs from Apple. But I know it wont play over AirTunes since that's a closed feature of iTunes. There are third party ways of getting around this. The Music N*** requires at least Mac OS X 10.3 and it might not be able to read iTunes Library files before iTunes 6.
If you are like me and have no hip hop music and a guest complains, you can have him bring his CDs in from his car and import them into your iTunes library. Then you can Reload iTunes Library from the File menu (command-R) and the new songs will be available from within The Music N***, without the music ever having to be stopped.
Warning: As part of kiosk mode (where screen is locked), the Finder is stopped. So make sure you arent doing any Finder operations (like copying files). When The Music N*** unlocks, the Finder is restarted. If this fails for some reason you can restart the Finder by hand by clicking on the Finder icon in the dock. Stopping the Finder is not good, however the alternatives are worse.

MacEmThreeYou 1.0.4 is a professional and smart tool which can solve the problem of limits the size of the playlist file.
It doesn't exceed the limits of the current firmware. If there are more than 250 songs, MacEmThreeYou will create multiple playlist files. The song count is not checked until the end of a folder so if you have all the songs for one album in each folder, the whole album will be in the same playlist.
Fixes a bug which caused only one folder within each folder to be processed. MacEmThreeYou now correctly processes all folders and all sub-folders within them.
No longer renames the MP3 files as it builds the playlist because the 4.13e version of the firmware no longer has the file name comparison bug in it so all songs in a directory can be found by using their real names.
