Free algorithmic number theory software for mac

This utility will interest you if you like to work with prime numbers.
It has two modes :
Mode A finds primes starting at a number of your choice.
Mode B finds all primes between a start number and a stop number.
It calculates and displays the time it takes to complete your request.
This utility was written in REALbasic for Macintosh and is freeware.

GTN(Guess The Number) 2.3 gives you good experience with playing an exciting sport game. GTN(Guess The Number) is a simple guess the number game writen in Cocoa. It includes preferences, statistics, and built in version check.

Evaluating Cross-Number Puzzles 1.0 is a beneficial and easy to use program taken on a CD-ROM collection of over 200 mathematics puzzles, available from the developer's Web site. Developed by a veteran teacher, these visually-oriented puzzle games have a simple interface and are designed to provide math problems in context to middle-school (grades five through nine) students.

In this particular puzzle, students solve cross-number puzzles by evaluating simple expressions. Program uses only positive integers.

Number String 1.5 is a helpful software with 6 cards being dealt face up that challenges players to combine some or all all of the first 5 cards to equal the value of the sixth card. Players may use any combination of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Up to 2 pairs of parenthesis may be added if desired. Besides acquiring points, each time an equivalency is completed a "hidden" background picture is displayed.

Requirements:

• Macintosh Universal (Intel / PPC) requires OSX 10.2 or greater. Classic version (a FAT build for both PPC and 68k machines) works with systems 7.6 - 9.2 and requires at least 6 MB of free application memory. 640 x 480 or greater screen resolution.

The Piano Theory Widget created to allow you to play piano using a standard qwerty keyboard as the interface! It includes interactive chord and scale charts, which makes it much easier to learn piano :)
