Sometimes we miss events because iCal does not have a preference for default alarms on events. The iCalAlarmSetter script visits all writeable iCal calendars searching for future events that do not have alarms.

For each such event found, it prompts the user to select a trigger interval (or none) for a new sound alarm to be attached to the event.

TinyAlarm is, as the name suggests, a tiny alarm clock for your menubar.
It will play your chosen alert at some time in the near future. Sota like an egg timer.
