nMacADSL 0.6.1 is regarded as an innovative and versatile application for Swedish people who has Telia ADSL "broadband" connection. They have to login via a web page, and that's just plain annoying. So, instead of logging in manually each and every time, you can use this application to login automatically! Plus, if you leave your computer on, it usually disconnects after about half an hour. With this app, you can keep the connection online, by automatically relogging in each ten minutes.

ADSL internet reconnect is an AppleScript that checks internet connection each 1000 secs and reconnects if necessary.

The purpose is to avoid problems I experienced with my ADSL service provider. I got disconnected every couple of hours, and after each drop, for next 5-15 minutes the connection couldnt be established at all.

If automatic redial was applied all the time , the connection never got established. I realized that situation must be IDLE for these 5-15 minutes, in order to make a connection possible again. Same happened with 2 different ADSL modems. You can also simply edit the delay time yourself.

AccessManagerConnector is an AppleScript to persistently connect to the internet via the Sympatico ADSL PPPoE client "Access Manager".

Note: Access Manager throws up a script-stopping error dialog if connection fails within a timeout of about 25 to 30 seconds. The connectTryTimeout property is used to avoid this dialog.

Tigrouille is a small widget that allows you to display in Dashboard graphs from Grenouille about your ADSL link quality (only for French residents).

Netspace provides a usage meter that updates automatically while connected to the network, calculations of costs when over your monthly allowance, and a status menu item. Launch! Netspace is donation-ware - which pretty much means it is freeware (no nag screens or limitations)

SunPosition Widget is a small tool that will help you connect to the SunPosition database and return calculations for: Sunrise, Sunset, Civil Dawn, Civil Dusk, Sunrise azimuth, Sunset azimuth, Latitude, Longitude and Magnetic declination for the selected location.
The SunPosition widget will plot the suns path at 15 minute intervals for the selected date and location. Members can access the data printout page for that current selection directly from the widget. Azimuth, altitude calculations follow the sun through its path.
This widget is free to everyone, although SunPosition members get full access to all 48,532 location entries while non members have limited access to approximately 8,000 locations.
Every time you make a selection a spinner will appear in the top right corner of the widget to show data is being loaded, wait until the spinner stops before continuing each step. Data normally loads very fast, this of course depends on your connection but in tests it takes between 0.5 to 1 second per query with 1 Mb ADSL.
The widget has a built in mechanism to cache data, depending on the type of data this cache will be stored for a set time, so if you load the locations for United States then this information will be available without having to reconnect to the server for 72 hours, therefore making the widget even faster to use.
