Add Item to Dock is a flexible, open-source tool, released for the benefit of system administrators.

Add Item to Dock is provides an interface to the defaults program, allowing you to add items to the dock using the command line.

Apple URL Access 2.3 is written to be a handy program with which you can get improved access to secure sites either new or current using new certificates. It also corrects issues with downloading or pushing files greater than 360K

Whats it for?
As you begin to use your IMS computers you will probably want to transfer documents created on your Macintosh to your IMS network folder. If your file name does not include the correct three-letter file extension then your IMS computer may not know which application to use to open the file. That means you will have to select the correct application each time you open a transferred file. You can add the correct file extension for each file manually if you want to. Not a big deal for a handful of documents. But could be a real chore if you have lots and lots of files. Or you can just let this magic little application do it for you.

How does it work?
Magic of course! Just select a list of files you want to convert and drop them on the magic hat icon. Then watch it perform.
It auto-magically checks the file type and adds the correct file extension to the file name. Because some operating systems cant handle file names longer than 31 characters, it will also truncate the file name to 27 characters (the dot and the three-letter extension make it 31).
If the new 31 character file name is already used a dialog box will appear asking you to select a different name. If the name you select is already in use then the operation will stop. You will have to check your files and try again with any files that were not already converted.

What files does it convert?
It will currently work with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents; AppleWorks documents and FileMaker Pro documents. All other files will be ignored. If you have a lot of documents from another application, let me know and I will add them to the list and send you an update.

Advanced URL Builder 1.6.30 is a perfect and extremely useful Mozilla add-on which can allow you to append the selected text to the URL. Append selected text to the URL of your favorite site enabling you to submit a query to any website. For example - highlight a placename/postcode and open using Google maps. Much easier and quicker to use than adding search engines to the context search. Highlight some text, right click and choose a URL that you have defined to open it with.

Irssi Url Tracker will allow you to track and view URLs posted in various channels. If you want to pull up the last URL posted in a channel, you can type: /url last And it will pull up that URL inside Safari (which can be changed to your favorite browser). It will also list all the URLs that have been posted, and let you clear out the log of URLs when you see fit.
Enhancements:

- Added Nick Tracking. /url list nick (example: /url list NO_PULSE) Will return all URLs posted by that nick. Note: If dupe filter is on, you may expect a URL said by one person, but couldve been said by someone else earlier in the day.

- Added 70+ Top Level Domains instead of the 5 or so it had.

The Search URL application willsearch URLs and email in your own database kinda like a search engine!
