Add Comments was developed to help users enter information into the comment fields of multiple files. So, as you would expect, drop some files on it or run it on a selection (via OSA Menu or the Apple Menu) and youll get a field in which to enter text.

The cool thing about Add Comments is that what you enter is ADDED to what may already be present in the comments field and doesnt REPLACE it.

Count Contacts is a simple script to display the total number of people in your OS X Address Book.

Count Contacts also counts the number of people in each group in your Address Book.

Completly freeware.

There is no way to directly import contacts from either of these Windows-based email programs. However, you can bring over your data by going through a two step process of exporting the data from the Windows application into a form that Microsoft Entourage can understand, and then importing it into Microsoft Entourage.

Due to the non-standard way in which Outlook saves export files, you will need to run this conversion script on the file to format the data into a form Microsoft Entourage will understand.

With CC Contacts (OE) you can select contacts or groups in your Address Book to enter them as CC recipients of a new mail message, or a reply, forward or resend.
Enhancements:
- Works in non-English-language systems, and from the Address Book either in its own window or displayed in the main Outlook Express window.
- If you include a contact [or a group] with no email address, instead of failing to enter any CC contacts as before, all valid email contacts are entered and you are alerted to the ones omitted.
- Displays the contact icon, rather than the yellow @ sign, in the CC field.

Entourage allows group members which are not contacts in its Address Book but are simply (name and) email address entries: the ones with the @ icons rather than the little-man contact icons.
This script will turn them all into bona-fide contacts with their own Address Book entries and can also assign each group member the same category as the groups, if you wish.
Enhancements:
- Offers an option to create a new category with the same name as the group, and apply that to both the group and its members, even where the group already has another category. This is useful when exporting contacts to programs which cannot import groups - such as Microsoft Outlook or Apples Mail - so that the groups can be recreated there from the categories of the contacts.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Categorize Duplicate Contacts fairly quickly locates duplicate contacts in the Entourage Address Book and marks them by assigning them to a category of "Duplicate".

The user can then use Address Book filtering (the box at the upper right of Address Book) to isolate all contacts in Duplicate category and process them as desired (Merge Contacts script recommended). This script should replace the authors earlier "Duplicates Report" script.
