The maps from Weather.com are actually a series of 5 images, so this eliminates the need for one to go to 5 different URLs and download the maps individually. The maps from AccuWeather are layered, so that the overlays (roads, names, markers) are each seperate image files from the actual map.
This downloads all the necessary image files so that you can put them together in an image/video editor (Photoshop, FCP).

JackWidget is a multi-purpose search tool. It has a search field and a popup menu.
The search field, of course, is for typing in the search. The popup menu is for selecting which site or sites to search. Some of the popup choices will send your search to several websites at once.
The simplest way to use it is to select a search from the popup menu and then type in some search terms and hit return. It also supports CLI-style usage, bypassing the popup menu. It has over two dozen searches built in, and is infinitely customizable (if you know how to open a widget package and edit XML).

A slider, slimilar to when popup notification for when all downloads complete, pops up from the bottom right corner of your screen when the current conditions are updated. You can even set what appears in it or disable it.
The ForecastFox extension allows you to receive international weather forecasts from AccuWeather.com, and display it on your toolbar or statusbar.
