Dali Clock 2.25 is a user-friendly, accurate and reliable digital clock. When a digit changes, it "melts" into its new shape. The date is displayed when the mouse is pressed. The window can be made transparent, and can do funky psychedelic color cycling. This is a very old program! The original version was written some time in the early 1980s by Steve Capps for the Xerox Alto workstation. In 1984, he ported it to the original Macintosh 128K. This MacOS X version is a descendant of Jamie Zawinski's 1991 implementation. (There are also PalmOS and Linux versions.)

It takes an overexposed photograph and a subexposed photograph, and merge them together in a tunable way to build a new photograph taking only the well exposed parts of each original. It is also possible to produce 2 artificial exposures with a single photograph, using a gamma filter, and then to merge them together exactly like if it where 2 original differently exposed photographs.
