KranK is a widget that works with The Omni Groups OmniFocus application.
Its development was inspired from David Allens Getting Things Done concept of breaking down tasks into actionable items he calls widgets. When tasks are small and actionable, the only thing you have to think about is cranking them.
No more procrastinating because your mind cant recall what things you need to do. All you have to do is KranK.
KranK helps reclaim the Dashboard as the focal point for everything you do on a computer. The Dashboard becomes your grounding point before jumping into the fray.
KranK accomplishes this by showing the Dashboard at timed intervals to inquire if you are still working on a task. This will help you stay focused on what you have planned out in OmniFocus and will also allow you to take a quick glimplse at the other widgets running in the Dashboard.
KranK is a tool to help you focus on what you have told yourself you want to focus on. You plan your life in OmniFocus by creating small actionable task "widgets". You process your task widgets using KranK.

It also allows basic control of iTunes, allowing you to double-click a song in the Spacey window to start play. Spacey will report the title, artist, last played count and rating in the Spacey window. As far as eMail and iCal, it will post the rank of the song, title and artist. Spacey can rate & eMail your hits from coast to coast! If that's not enough, Spacey can also publish your playlist to your iDisk.

With older newsreaders you must save the articles and then, in the Finder, hand the saved articles to yEnc TZ.

It is smart enough to close and reopen files every now and then to deal with rotating files and it transparently works around stale NFS handles which often exist after your Mac wakes up from sleep and tries to read from a logfile mounted via NFS. If you don't mind hacking the user defaults (rather than using the preferences panel) you can also configure multiple windows with multiple logifiles each.
Enhancements:
- No functional changes but MkConsoleElement now displays an entry in the status area of the menu bar, which gives access to the preferences and allows to quit the element; no more AppleScripts for that.

Flickcurl is a C library for the Flickr API, handling creating the requests, signing, token management, calling the API, marshalling request parameters and decoding responses.
Flickcurl uses libcurl to call the REST web service and libxml2 to manipulate the XML responses. Flickcurl 1.0 or later supports 100% of the 2008-01-23 version of the API (see Flickcurl API coverage) including the functions for photo uploading, browsing,
Flickcurl also includes a program flickrdf to turn photo metadata, tags and machine tags into RDF descriptions of photos and tags.

Enhancements
- flickcurl_search_params structure now has an integer field woe_id for searching via Where On Earth IDs (WOEIDs). Forgot to add this earlier!

- Search results now decode more of the extras that can be returned in search queries when the extras field is set in the query to a comma-separated list of things to return. The additions with their extras names are: original dimensions (o_dims), photo views count (views), simple list of tags (tags), photo user information (owner), geo information (geo) and user buddy icons (icons),

- Make more attempts to reset the libcurl context between requests which should help in sequences of calls that mix GET (searches, get information) and POST (uploading, deletions etc.) This is intended to try to fix a hard-to-test report of crashes with multiple upload and API calls on Solaris/SPARC.
- Configuration via configure now uses pkg-config(1) to get the compile (CFLAGS) and link (LIBS) flags info for libxml, libcurl and raptor. This should work since those libraries have shipped the respective .pc file in releases for some time.
- Use pkg-config raptor configuration for checking raptor presence, versions, cflags and libs rather than the (deprecated) raptor-config program output.
- Added configure SHAVE support (git clone git://git.lespiau.name/shave ) to "make autotools output sane" which amounts to much less verbose messages when compiling. It is now enabled by default.
- Compiling from subversion (autogen.sh or configure --enable-maintainer-mode) requires Libtool V2 for consistency with my other projects.
