iTunesCheck 0.91
iTunesCheck - Global hot keys for controlling iTunes more>>
Yes, all of these things are, of course, available directly in the iTunes interface. But I find it cumbersome to have to switch to iTunes just to figure out what song is playing. This is faster.
Enhancements:
- Modularized display options for easy expansion.
- Fixed bug where iTC would launch iTunes if you set the info window to show all the time. Fixed associated bug where you couldnt quit iTunes if iTC was running.
- Fixed a bug where iTC would crash if you set it to display the last played date and the current track didnt have one.
- Added Read Me button to About tab.
- Added "Increment Play Count" hot key.
- Rewrote info window controller. Artwork should be higher quality, you can choose from three sizes, and there is an option to look inside the files folder for artwork (in case thats how you roll).
- Updated the title, artist, and album scripts to work more intelligently with streaming data.
- Changed iTC to work with the notifications iTunes now sends out when it changes songs. No more processor-intensive polling of iTunes, awww yeah!
- Fixed the crashing bug related to iTC being open too long that everyone who ever used the program reported. Thanks guys. But thanks to Guy Brooker for being a stud and fixing it!
- Added a "while playing" display option.
- Miscellaneous other improvements made over a year of poking around, of which there are a lot.
DwWorkflow 0.91.1
Datawarehouse process workflow server more>> Datawarehouse process workflow server
DwWorkflow is a datawarehouse process workflow server and generator of datawarehouse mappings.
Datawarehouse allows to define dependencies between tables or files and processes and according to these metadata it runs processes in parallel.
Main features:
- Flexibility
- The usuall approach to create a workflow is to order procedures into some plan. But this approach is not flexible enough to adapt for different processing times and for parallel processing. The DwWorkflow offers this flexibility but it can be more complex compared to the forementioned approach. But this complexity is acceptable as this concept is approved on real projects.
- Speed and reliability
- The DwWorkflow is fast and reacts very quickly to the changes of the object states and to the user commands.
- Server interface flexibility
- The server is controled using console with python interface. So it is possible to use python to write complex and flexible scripts.
- Generating of mappings
- The DwWorkflow offers template engine for generating of mappings. There are some other tools which offer graphical way how to write mappings. But these tools look nice when they are used for simple mappings but when they are used for complicated mappings then we can get unreadable, unmaintainable and slow code. The approved way is to generate mappings. It allows the developer to write the core of the mapping and the tedious and repetitive parts of the mappings are generated. This approach when correctly used produces very fast and maintainable mappings.
System requirements:
-
- Ant
Enhancements
- This release mainly include changes done because of the graphical plugin for the eclipse and some errors have been corrected.
