Goudy Sans will make you feel pleasant because it is the quirkiest of the Humanist sans serifs, although its relationship to other designs in this category is quite apparent: oldstyle proportions, oblique stress, and subtle variations of stroke weight.
The roman form is somewhat less geometric than Gill Sans and Syntax, and the italic is significantly more embellished, almost to the point of approaching a script face. Particularly note the uppercase A and Q, which are beautiful in the italic. You'll also notice that Goudy Sans has very slight hints of serifs on most of its stems.
Like the other Humanists, Goudy Sans italics are true italics, and not simply obliqued versions of the roman letters.

Propagator Public Beta 1
Propagator - Preventing repetitive stress injuries for IT since March more>>
See that "Set Ownership" checkbox? That will set the correct owner/permissions for every file copied based on the folder names (users short names) in the third field of that screenshot.
Crash course:
Drag all the preferences you want to copy to all users into the big draggable area in the Propagator window.
Choose what folder you want all those preferences to go into. That "Common Places" pulldown near the second field has a lot of...well, common places. You can also just type the folder you want if you are so inclined, or leave it blank for the top level of each users home directory.
Choose the folder that contains all your user folders for the third field.
--
Click "Set Ownership" if you want files to get the correct permissions (a good idea).
Click "Lock Files After Copy" if you dont want kids messing with your new settings.
Click "Just Delete Existing Items" if you want Propagator to just delete corresponding copies of whats in the "Copy These Items" list. A good way to get rid of Cache folders or other unhappy things.
--
If you want to choose a specific set of users to copy to, click the "Choose Users..." button and a drawer will pop out with the names of all users. You can add, subract or clear all names.
OR..., you can create your own customized list much quicker. "Paste Clipboard" will enter a list of names youve copied from a text document, AppleWorks or Excel spreadsheet, or even just a bunch of user folders you batch-selected and copied from the Finder.

Frictionless 2.0d14
Frictionless - To-do list manager, Mail/Quicksilver integration more>>
The idea is that when you are processing, you can use the projects view to capture all the things you have to do. Then when you are doing, you can use the contexts view so you only have to see the items you can work on right now.
This bypasses the problem with most to-do list programs in that if you do a complete to-do list, you have 200 items, of which only 20 are presently actionable. By slicing your actions by context, you only need look at Errands when you are ready to run errands.
Frictionless is kind of complicated, so reading the documentation is pretty much required. Reading David Allens book is also reccomended because it will give you the productivity tips you need to make the rest of your work process more productive and stress free.
Enhancements:
- Fixed the bug with deleting a whole hierarchy of actions. Thanks to Jason for reporting it.
- Added automated updates via the very cool Sparkle framework.
- Fixed the bug where when you drag a tree of actions in the outline to a new parent, the tree got flattened. Now just moves the parents of the sub items.
- New RubyCocoa Version
- Marking/unmarking a tree of items as someday should be more obvious. That is, if a parent of an item is marked "someday" so that it and all of its children arent considered "actionable" then the children show up marked as someday as well. If you unmark the child, it unmarks the whole tree.
- Hitting a, t, or d switches the filters between actionable, to-do and done per a user request.
- Quick Start is now integrated into Frictionless via WebKit

FileVault-proof Finder selection to alias list 1.2
FileVault-proof Finder selection to alias list - Coerce FileVault-protected Finder selection to aliases or POSIX items more>>
When applescripting Apples Finder, it fails to treat FileVault-protected items as regular Finder items - an unbelievable bug in Panthers original FileVault incarnation that sadly survived the move to Tiger. Among several other, often scriptbreaking effects, this causes an applescript to error out whenever it tries to coerce a FileVault-protected item into an AppleScript alias via the Finder. It also breaks many Automators workflows that use the Finder selection as input.
The script offers a "Vanilla AppleScript" way to bypass the Finder when coercing FileVault-protected items into aliases or POSIX items. When run, it converts the full Finder selection into a complete list of aliases, even when the selection contains FileVault-protected items.
FileVaults buggy AppleScript implementation also errors out when the Finder tries to access any regular Finder item property for FileVault-protected items. But by getting to the alias stage as in this script, it becomes possible to call the "info for" command, that luckily also bypasses the Finder and returns many of the Finders regular item properties (like "name", "file type", "kind" and "file creator").
Enhancements:
- Cleans up the crucial finderDocToAlias handler code and adds some tutorial comments.
