iTag uses the information stored within MP3 files (so called ID3 tags) to rename the files. It sports a simple and eays to use interface and lets you choose the way the new names should be generated.
Enhancements:
- The new version uses the id3lib, because QuickTime is too stupid to get it right.
- id3lib is released under the GPL, so i had to make iTag open source as well and so the sourcecode is available here.

EDS is a GUI front end for rarlabs rar program. Users can create rar sets or a single rar file. Users can also create recovery volumes and set compression type. Some switches are disabled in this release.

A distutils extension which converts python scripts into executable Mac OS X applications, able to run without requiring an existing Python installation. This is a replacement for bundlebuilder. If you have used the PyObjC 1.2 installer, you do not need this because py2app 0.1.7 is included.

Screed is a list converter. Lets say you have a bulleted list written in HTML. Paste that into Screed and you can convert it into a pulldown menu, or a numbered list, among other options. You can start from any of the options and convert to any of the options.

Musorg is an useful application that allows you to easily organize your music collection. Supports simple tag editing, freedb lookups for correct Id3 tags and files and/or directory renaming.
How?
- Start the app, navigate to your music folder....list of your media info shows at the bottom.
- Edit tags directly and/or do freedb lookup with "Lookup" button.
- When finished just use "Save Tags" and/or "Rename dir" / "Rename files" options.

ProgBar is a freeware background application for AppleScripters. It allows a scripter to display a progress bar for user feedback while a script is running. Very useful for displaying file and/or folders names when recursing through scripted file processes, that sort of thing.
Enhancements:
- Added rounded aluminum window style.
- Added mini window style.
- Cleaned up and streamlined code in example script and pre-built subroutines.
- Added fadeIn , fadeOut, startProgBar, barberPole and killBarberPole subroutines to example script.
- Standardized command names, making them all one-word with capitalization to indicate words. Additionally, object names are now standardized with underscores as word separators.
- ProgBar should also now remember the position of its windows. You can simply use a script to open them all, position them where you want them to appear respectively, and restart ProgBar. Each window should then appear in the position you prefer when it is invoked.

bzip2 is a freely available, patent free (see below), high-quality data compressor.
It typically compresses files to within 10% to 15% of the best available techniques (the PPM family of statistical compressors), whilst being around twice as fast at compression and six times faster at decompression.

This software was distributed by its author under the terms of the GNU GPL. I have not modified the source in any way, and am simply redistributing the binaries, help files, and library files in a .mpkg installer.
