TypeIndexer 2.1 offers you an effective tool that can find, sort, catalog and sample all of your PostScript fonts. Its unique and outstanding feature is the ability to find and process any number of font files at one time - without having to install them.

Of course, it works with installed ones, too!
You can create font catalogs with samples of all Postscript typefaces in your library. TypeIndexer prints an alphabetical list of all font [printer file] names, with line samples of each, at up to 60 typefaces per page.

For more detailed inspection, it can sample 1, 2, 4, 6, 15, 20 or 40 fonts on a page in a variety of template formats. New free templates are added to this website, and TypeIndexer provides tools to write your own! A file location index finds and shows the exact location of each printer font file. A Character Chart displays all available characters for any font.

   • Select an entire drive, and TypeIndexer will find all of the Postscript fonts on it. Or select a particular folder, and TypeIndexer will search that folder and any sub-folders within.

2. Print Sample Pages

3. Custom Headers and Footers
   
   • TypeIndexer allows personalized headers and footers on all output pages, and custom text paragraphs under type samples.
4. Create Master Font Indexes
   
   • A master index may be exported with ten fields of font information: Screen Name, File Name, Family Name, Full Name, Creator, Weight, Version, Notice, File Location Path and Time stamp.
5. Create PDF Files
   
   • TypeIndexer can print-to-disk. These files can be distilled into indexed, PDF files that are viewable on screen, printed through a Postscript laser printer or even InkJet printers. A great way to legally mail font samples!
   • Version 2.1 shines when run in OS 9.2.2 or "Classic Mode" through OS X. Huge amounts of fonts can be sampled with everything running at system speed. Adobe's Distiller application (not included) then does a remarkable job of handling font problems and creating the finished file. You can even print the PDF through Ink-Jet printers with amazing results.

Mpecker Encoder 1.0b25 is a feature-rich and trustworthy MacOS program designed to encode AIFF or PCM audio files. It supports all MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 sampling frequencies for AIFF files, and 44100 Hz for PCM files. Several bitrates are available, and MPecker can encode mono as well as stereo audio files.

• Mpecker will run on any MacOS PPC machine, and will encode AIFF files sampled at appropriate frequencies into mpeg files.

When tuning a group of objects, you simply select them, choose Vector Studios Color or Transparency Tool and adjust a simple slider to change them simultaneously.
When image sampling, you use a scan or painted image (raster OR vector-based) to recolor an object or group of objects. For a painterly feel, you can recolor your Illustrator brush strokes with a sampled placed photo!
With gradient sampling, you choose a gradient from the document and easily recolor a collection of objects (rather than applying that gradient to each object).

Asiva Correct+Apply Color 2.2 is designed to be a smart plug-in for Adobe Photoshop having 2 distinct filters from which you can choose:

• Correct Color is similar to Photoshop's Replace Color, but with some very fundamental differences. Asiva's Correct Color algorithm take into consideration a pixel's original Hue, Saturation and Luminance values before replacing-in the new color. Very natural looking results are easily attainable.

• Apply Color is a very easy way to paint any user-defined color into any part of the image based on pixels' Hue, Saturation and Luminance values. It operates almost like a magic paintbrush. This filter is particularly useful when a simple paint operation cannot produce natural-looking results. Common applications of Apply Color include: applying 'digital make-up' for portraits, colorizing black and white images, and false color imaging.

Both filters operate the same way insofar as defining the source color(s) you wish to Correct or Apply Color to: Use Asiva (R)'s built-in Hue, Saturation and Intensity Maps to draw curves defining the source color(s). Sampling the colors in the area of the image you wish to affect with the built in Color Sampler Tool is a quick way of selecting these values.

Adjusting the curves in the maps allows you to refine certain Hue or Saturation or Intensity values selected. he slope of the curves will define how the filter is transitioned. A near vertical line on your Map will create defined boundaries between where the filter is applied and is not, and a gently sloped curve on the Map will make the boundaries smooth. Asiva (R)'s curves are so precise that tedious masking prior to application of the filters is often not necessary.
