KonaPDF automates the creation of Postscript files and dumps them in a watched folder ready for Acrobat Distiller to convert into PDFs. It can handle single pages and two-page spreads.
You just select the folder containing the Quark documents, then choose the Distiller watched folder. Its as simple as that.
Most of the time youll want to output low-resolution PDFs as proofs for clients. But KonaPDF can output high-resolution PDFs too. Choose the low-resolution option and 300dpi Postscript files are output quickly for Acrobat Distiller to work on. Choose high-resolution and 2400dpi Postscript files are output; of course, your Distiller settings will need to be high resolution (Press Quality) too in order to obtain high resolution PDFs. And these high resolution PDFs will be "plain vanilla" ones with no allowances for crops and trims, bleeds etc.
