DomusTerra is a new low-cost program for architectural land modeling. DomusTerra springs from Interstudios vast experience in the land modeling and representation sector, begun in 1988 with the first release of Nonio C.

DomusTerra has all the characteristics of its big brother Nonio C - interactive modeling, walkthroughs in real time, supports textures, supports plug-in renderers - with some limitations regarding direct plotting, modeling and allowable number of points. While Nonio C is best suited for more elaborate surveys and for modeling large tracts of land, DomusTerra can be used for smaller projects and architectural landscaping.
A land model created with DomusTerra can be exported to an architectural program, such as Interstudios own Domus.Cad or Graphisofts ArchiCad, where it may be viewed and elaborated along with the architectural model. The reverse operation may also be performed: an architectural model may be imported to DomusTerra (in QD3D MetaFile format) where it can be placed directly on the modeled landscape.
DomusTerra imports and exports in Domus.Cad, GDL, DXF 3D, QuickDraw 3D MetaFile, and DigiCad 3D formats.

Terragen 2.0 is created as a useful graphic tool which is designed for rendering and animating realistic natural environments. Create entire worlds from your imagination, or import real world terrain datasets and use Terragen 2 to create the most realistic visualisations possible. You control the weather, landscape, rivers, lakes and oceans, suns, moons and stars. With Terragen 2 you have complete control over the shader networks used for terrains, textures, micropolyon displacements, clouds and object distributions. You can reorganise the planetary shading pipeline to suit your goals. Place grass and trees wherever you want, as well as other objects in OBJ format that you can model in third party software. Terragen is not a game engine; it has a sophisticated film- and broadcast-quality renderer and procedural modelling tools designed so that you can create the most realistic images possible without taking a photograph. Nor is it a general-purpose 3D program designed to render everything. Have dedicated more than a decade to specialising in algorithms that simulate skies, outdoor lighting, terrain textures, and to render extremely large and detailed terrains. Terragen 2 puts those algorithms in your control. When you need CG environments that don't look CG, Terragen 2 will help you get there. If you want to go beyond reality, Terragen 2 is a toolbox with infinite possibilities.

Zex 0.99.3B3 has come as an interesting space based role playing game which is designed in a retro-esque style. Presented in a top-down view, Zex combines elements of arcade, role playing, trading and character advancement. Zex runs on Windows and Macintosh based computers.

Background:

The R'Mparians have invaded the defences to the point ourselves against them. In a last ditch effort a secret ship known as Zex was designed and built from captured alien hardware. Disguised as a R'Mparian vessel, it was sent through a warphole into the R'Mparian galaxy along with a few Earth Motherships.
As the game starts, you find your job is to force a retreat of the R'Mparians and secure a peaceful future for Mother Earth. Not an easy task, and not a task accomplished in a few minutes! Of cour rank, making money, pirating the odd bit of cargo or generally just exploring the galaxy. It is up to you.
