CB Radio Simulator 1.1 is a very tractable and powerful program which allows you to select a preset PLL type and it shows you what its circuitry layout and what the various internal frequencies are for each channel, also gives you the ability to simulate frequency conversions, so you can test it without having to do it on a real CB radio, you can also select your own crystal frequencies and PLL "N" codes for testing expansion ideas.
It also makes a good trouble shooting tool, as it tells you what the internal frequencies should be for a given PLL type, so you are able to see if a frequency is incorrect or missing, very handy for those unknown radios that use a generic design, it can tell you any frequency that the radio is capable of producing from its PLL "N" code range or loop frequency.

Audiocorder 5.2 is a program for you to use your Mac as a sophisticated audio recorder. In one mode, it operates as a volume operated (VOX) audio recorder. This allows you to set the volume that the sound must reach to begin recording, and the volume at which it should end recording. It also allows you to set the trigger length for the start and stop values, which helps you to eliminate recording short bursts of sound or ending the recording process during a short pause (such as in normal speach).
Audiocorder may also be programed with a recording schedule, specifying when it should start and stop recording, much like a VCR. It may also be used as a normal manually operated recorder. In addition, it can play AIFF sound files, including those created with other sound programs. Each sound file is stored in AIFF format, a Macintosh standard sound format.
