Gradient Texture within Vector Studio provides subtly shaded textures that appear the same at any resolution - perfect for simultaneous Web and print work. Textures can be directly manipulated with the gradient palette to create millions of variations. Create new textures or use over 200 texture presets that ship with Vector Studio.
- Interactive color editing tools - The color Sampler tools are packed full of features that offer amazing color control of multiple objects. These features are grouped into three unique types of adjustment: Tuning, Image Sampling, and Gradient Sampling.
When tuning a group of objects, you simply select them, choose Vector Studios Color or Transparency Tool and adjust a simple slider to change them simultaneously.
When image sampling, you use a scan or painted image (raster OR vector-based) to recolor an object or group of objects. For a painterly feel, you can recolor your Illustrator brush strokes with a sampled placed photo!
With gradient sampling, you choose a gradient from the document and easily recolor a collection of objects (rather than applying that gradient to each object).
These sampler tools also include powerful object transformation and weight tools for creating weighted variations in your color or transparency effects.
The Retouch Brush tools allow you to color multiple objects at once by moving a brush cursor over paths, compound paths, and even gradient meshes! Now you wiil be able to easily create beautiful airbrush effects and realistic images with vector-based art. Select Effects is an Adobe Illustrator plugin which allows you to select art objects with transparency.

Select any or all objects containing:
• Effects
• Blend Modes other than "Normal"
• Opacity settings less than 100%
• Raster images with alpha (transparency) channel
• All of the above at once.

Proof Block 10.0 is such an easy-to-use and handy plug-in filter tool for Adobe Illustrator which lets you create a proof block for routing illustrations to editors and art directors prior to publication.

It creates it on its own layer that prints from Illustrator, when you print your proof, but not from page layout applications when placed as EPS.

Scan Layer also included, which creates a non-printing layer for tracing over scanned images. Any selected bitmap raster objects will be moved to the scan layer and colored 25% cyan for easier tracing.

White Overprint Detector II CS2 2.0 offers a flexible program which makes it possible to automatically scan documents when they are opened, for the presence of paths and text that have been filled or stroked with white overprints. White art objects incorrectly set to overprint can cause undesired effects in color separation and print.

White is defined as:

• CMYK values of 0%
• Spot or global colors defined as CMYK 0%
• Objects filled or stroked with a 0% tint of a spot or global color.
