Camera Match quickly finds the view by placing control lines on a photograph and clicking a button. If the view still needs tuning, Camera Match's powerful live tuning controls get the job done fast. After getting the view set, the CameraMatch masking tool magically brings it all together!

Major Features:

1. Vectorworks has some great 3D view manipulation tools, but when trying to align a 3D model to align with a photo, the process can be time consuming (and frustrating) at best.
2. The Renderworks Camera object can help with this process, but it's just not designed for the task.
3. Trying to adjust the Renderworks Camera's many tuning controls while keeping the model in the correct place on the photo can take hours of trial & error.
4. And after all the trial and error, the process can still leave some question about the accuracy of the view. This is where Camera Match comes in.
5. The Camera Match process involves placing a 3D reference point in your model, then placing a Camera Match object in a viewport's annotation space.
6. The 3D reference point gives Camera Match the location and orientation of the model.
7. The Camera Match object locates the reference point on the photo and establishes vanishing points by aligning control lines along elements in the photo.

CheckMate 1.0b1 is a product like a preference pane for MacOS X 10.1 or higher to generate and compare secure MD5 checksums of critical files. This can be used to detect whether these files have been altered by viruses, root kits, trojan horses, or other possibly malicious programs. Checksum validation can be run manually from inside the preference pane, and/or scheduled to run hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or each time you restart.

If the validation process finds any files whose checksums don't match the values stored, several notification options can be triggered, including a popup dialog and email. In addition to the default list of files that are included for validation, you can easily add and remove additional files that you wish to validate.

You can also export the list of file checksums to a file to be stored somewhere other than the computer it was made on (such as on your iDisk). You can later load this externally-stored file back into the preferences panel to verify that the checksums themselves haven't been altered.

NOTE: The choice of files that are checked by default was derived by examining a number of other file system checksumming (or tripwire-type) systems on other UNIX-like platforms. If you believe that there are other OSX-specific files that should get checked for malicious alteration, please send me your suggestions for possible inclusion.
