Hide-A-Folder 2.5 is a simple and salutary security application which is used best in an environment where the security of the data is not of the utmost importance. The idea is to be able to keep your information away from prying eyes, snooping employees, or kids who may accidentally damage or alter your files. It works by making folder(s) invisible, which can be made visible easily by anyone with skill or want. It features password protection and the ability to hide/show multiple folders at once.

File Hider X 2.2 is regarded as a nice-to-use and creative tool which brings users the ability to "hide" selected files and folders on your Macintosh so that they cannot be seen by casual observers. File Hider can also be password protected so that only you can "unhide" your files. The password feature even allows you to enter a clue to make it easy to remember your password.
Simply drag your sensitive files or folders into File Hider's list and watch your files vanish. When you need to access one of your hidden files or folders, launch File Hider again, enter your password, drag the desired files out of the list, and watch your files pop back into existence.
