Name Game 1.0 is a cool game that appeals to players of all skill levels. The rules are pretty simple. For each correct guess, you get at least one point. The only rule is: The first letter of the first name must be the first letter of the last name. The computer guesses first (but does not get a point for the first guess), you then take turns guessing until you or the computer cannot find a match. YOu can get double points for names that have double letters, like Soupy Sales, Marilyn Monroe, or Fred Flintstone. Any famous name is eligible. It comes with 100 names already but it learns over time. So whatever you answer will be used by the computer in subsequent games. You may win in the beginning but the longer you play, and the more names you give, the more fun it becomes. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross to help defray the costs of cleanup in New York and Washington, D.C. Enjoy!

That MP3 Game 1.1 is an inviting and easy to play game that allows to play "Name That Tune" with up to 7 other players, using your own MP3 audio files. Players take turns trying to guess the name of a song that is played while the point timer counts down. The faster you answer, the more points you get. When all of the rounds have been played, the player with the highest score wins the game.
That MP3 Game lets you to set the number of rounds to be played, the speed of the point countdown, whether or not songs should be "recycled" and at what point each song should stop playing. A"Credit" function is included that allows a player to receive points for an answer which may simply have been misspelled. The game ignores most punctuation and insignificant words in titles such as "the" and "a" to make play as convenient as possible.
That MP3 Game is ideally suited to use on a PowerBook or iBook as the laptop can be placed on a table and rotated for use by each player as his or her turn comes up.

While this game may not win any accolades for it's graphics, the game play is quite fun. I have received great comments from others players. Also, it was featured in the April, 1997 Takarajima magazine (published in Tokyo) under the category "Best U.S. Shareware Games of the Year."
