Give the selection the final touch by adding 'noise' to ensure it blends seamlessly into the final image.
Once installed TrueBlur will appear as a Filter option in Photoshop. To use you first select an image or image region. The control panel will display the original image in the left window and the softened result in the right hand window. To move the preview window around the image you drag the mouse to the preferred location. To adjust the level of zoom select the + or -icon.
TrueBlur has two controls: one to blur your photo and one to add noise. These are normally the two things to avoid or remove, but in a creative context you may want to blur a region of a photo subtley to drive the viewers attention elsewhere in an image, or even
to correct for focal plane errors.
The Blur slider will blur your photo in the same way as your camera, just as if the region of the photo were outside the depth-of-field of the photo. To do this TrueBlur uses the LensFIT technology to model your camera and optics. It does this by reading the EXIF information attached to the original photograph. In some cases you may need to specify the Make and Model of the camera to activate the LensFIT feature, in which cas a dialogue box will appear. (Check here for a list of currently supported cameras. and here to see an example of the camera options in a FocusFixer control panel)).
When you blur a photo you get an unrealistic result - it will have the noise smoothed out as well as the photo detail smoothed out. In a real camera the out-of-focus regions have soft detail but the noise is not affected by the focus. The Noise slider in TrueBlur V2 allows you to add noise back into the blurred regions to match the noise in the rest of your photo. The result is a realistic blur that is indistinguishable from that which the camera would naturally produce providing you a tool that can extend your creativity.

J2SEditor is a programme designed to edit picture documents. Its image browser and its copy/move/delete features make it easy to organize files,
Its IPTC caption editing module lets you edit textual meta-data of graphics files separately or in batch without affecting the documents (e.g. the caption of a JPEG file can be updated without recompression of the document).
The list of ITPC fields to edit as well as default values or other input controls are defined and stored in description profiles which can be adapted to each user with our J2SProfiler.
Amongst other features, J2SEditor provides a toolbar e.g. for quick access to applications, folders or other tools so that J2SEditor can easily fit in a document workflow. Colour marks can be applied to the documents for faster identification. J2SEditor can also add a colour profile to JPEG files and send a selection of documents to a FTP site. An Inspector window can be used to quickly display specific file information (e.g. IPTC or EXIF data, etc.).

J2STask processes repetitive tasks on a large number of graphic files more>> Aimed at professionals, J2STask is a robot used to batch process images: it scans a local or ftp source folder at regular intervals and processes the files it contains according to the task settings. The files are then sent to one or two target folders.
Combined with J2SProfiler, an IPTC profile editor, J2STask is also used to route documents according to the IPTC data they contain i.e. if the IPTC caption of a file does not comply with the defined IPTC profile, it will be moved to an "Error" folder instead of being forwarded to the target folder.
J2STask can accomplish the following operations:
- Rotate (all files or according to Exif data),
- Set file resolution,
- Downsize the pictures,
- Apply a mark (insertion of a picture in the files - cf. watermark),
- Apply an IPTC profile, to make sure the files are properly captioned for example,
- Convert files to TIFF or JPEG and optionally recompress the files,
