- Frequently have numerous programs running and want to quit out of most or all of them before running other programs. Normally, you would have to select each program and quit out of each one separately. QuitAll does it with one double-click and a carriage return.

For example, a mailbox from an email program saved to disk as a text file, can be accessed by Power Email Extracter resulting with all the emails contained in that file, sorted and displayed in a list box. Duplicates can be removed with a quick keyboard short cut or from selecting from the menu. Existing text lists can be imported into Power Email Extracter, to be sorted or incorporated into larger lists. Once satisfied with the email list makeup, it can be saved as a text file to be imported to a Database or email list server. eMail2mySql is normally triggered manually from your web browser, however to complete the package, I have included a trigger script. This script can be included to any page so that eMail2mySql can be called automatically for you.
Main features:
- Direct import into mysql. No more email saved to your local machine.
- Sports error checking, and during import will alert you if any email is not inserted into sql.
- When eMail2mySql.php is run, it will thread all the email(s) in a simple list, making it easy to see what is imported, and what is not. It will also alert you to connection failures.
- Allows you check email, but leaving them on the mail server. This is useful for setting up the script, and ensuring it is connecting to sql and your email account. Once you have things set up, you can change the config file to turn this off. [Note: if you leave this function on, you will get duplicate messages when eMail2mySql is run again!]
- Nice GUI to view, edit, delete and search on records. I include this for completeness as eMail2mysql does not provide these features directly.
- Makes use of a simple configuration file to make all the necessary connections to mysql and your email acct.
- Includes a Smart Trigger" to automatically call eMail2mySql when included to your php page.
Enhancements:
- Minor changes to the triggering mechanism that potentially could prevent the included page from loading if there were problems importing email.
- Added a "Create New Record" function to manually create new records in read_list.php
- No Bugs were discovered in Version 1.0.
