Xactuell for InDesign CS2 4.0r26

Xactuell provides all tools for creating and managing links from an InDesign document to a database.
Xactuell for InDesign CS2 communicates with all common databases. A link to a database can be made from text passages in the body of the text (text link), from text frames (text frame link) and graphic frames (graphic frame link).
In the InDesign documents, the passages are marked with an either visible or invisible marking to link any number of passages to the database using the field name and the reference value (e.g. product number). Once the links have been set from the document to the database, the prices, texts or pictures in the document which are linked to the database can be updated at any time. During the update, the database is queried via the links in the document and the latest information saved in the database.
Prices, texts or pictures are inserted in the corresponding points of the document. The update can cover the whole document, when all links are updated all at once. But the update can also refer just to certain queries (e.g. price, but not corresponding descriptive text) or just to certain page areas in the document. If necessary, the process also works in return: the contents of the InDesign CS document can be written back onto the database.
Xactuell understands the full command scope of the tagged text filter, e.g. for different marking of individual text passages. An endless range of basic layouts is available so that even extensive catalogue productions can have an individual appearance and dont look like automatically compiled "database publishing catalogues. Supported is InDesign CS 2.
