WuffDesktop gives you transparent views for your desktop containing date, time and much more. It integrates into your Finder without bothering you with an application icon or a big footprint on your system.
This lightweight helper keeps track of time and date: it reminds you of the important meeting with your boss and rings after 4 minutes when the eggs are ready. Customize position and size of the views and make them look good on your desktop by changing fonts, colors, frames and opacity to your needs.
It also gives you your IP address known to the outside world, and a comfortable screenshot utility.

Clock
- Display time with seconds
- Show am/pm or use 24 hour clock
- Add a name, e.g. CET or town
Date
- Show current day the way you like it as long as it contains weekday, day, month or year. You are the one to decide about the format.
Timer
- Set countdown time and start it
- Visual or sound feedback at the end of the timer
- Repeat until feedback by the user
- Automatic poof at end of timer
- Use any sound for ticking and final alarm. Even a song from your iTunes library is possible
Alarm
- Set any time as alarm for today
- Visual or sound feedback at alarm time
- Automatic poof at alarm or after feedback
- Repeat until feedback by the user
External IP
- Displays the IP address known to the outside world
- Choosable webpage to contact and interval for checking
