Visage is a System Preferences pane that allows you to easily and safely customize the appearance of Mac OS X.
You can run screen savers as your desktop background, customize your login panel, personalize system alerts, and more!

- Visage remembers your favorite desktop effects and can automatically rotate among them at a designated time interval.
- Visage lets you control the CPU usage of the effects and can even start desktop effects automatically at login.
- Visage can select a random image from your login screen background collection so that you will see a different background every time you log out! On the login screen you can add custom images and display a text message, which is useful for organizations that wish to display a message to all users prior to login.
Please note that Visage is not yet compatible with Mac OS 10.3 (Panther).
Version restrictions:
- You may try Visage for free with absolutely no restrictions for 7 days.
Enhancements:
- Non-admin users can now replace the login screen background image.
- Fixed issue where characters such as parentheses in the login panel text message could prevent the message from being displayed on the login panel.
- Fixed rare issue where Visage could crash on launch.
