Versomatic is a powerful extension to Mac OS X that catalogs and archives all file changes automatically in real-time without you even noticing.
Versomatic is a useful program that helps you go back in time and view or restore any earlier version of a file instantly. Versomatic can even recover previously deleted files regardless of when they were deleted (unlike traditional undelete utilities that only work well soon after the deletion takes place).
We are releasing this beta as a "trial" download. This has been done in order to test the trial management features that are part of the product. We ask that you follow the trial activation procedure in order to help us test this feature. The Mac documentation is not finished yet. Fortunately the feature set and overall organization of the software are almost the same across platforms. The differences are mostly visual due to platform GUI differences.
Versomatic for Mac OS X is not a "port" of the Windows version. It was created from scratch using XCode in Objective-C using every Apple native technology available. It is a Universal binary and will run natively on both PowerPC and Intel processors.
