TrashMagic 1.0.3 description
TrashMagic is a protection tool for the Trash contents that allows you to recover data in your Trash can that you emptied. All you have to do is launch TrashMagic and recover your data even days or weeks after emptying the Trash.
Main features:
- Protection engine running in background.
- Automatically backup the Trash contents.
- TrashMagic menu to activate/deactivate the protection at any time.
- Maintain the data in the cache during a programmed time.
- Drag-and-drop recovery.
- Option to automatically empty the Trash (with items moved to the cache).
Version restrictions:
- 10 seconds startup delay.
Enhancements:
Added features:
- Option to add a password to access Recovery panel.
- Menu extra looks for update, no need to launch main application.
Corrections:
- Name conflict when running weekly periodic script resolved.
- Daemon crash with Intel cpu reporting a bad protection/instalation solved.
- Correction of a problem when when both settings "max file size for cache" and "time limitation" are OFF.
- Correction of a problem with Mac OS 10.3, specific files names cant prevent files to be copied to the cache.
- Correction of a problem if locked files are in cache, they cant be deleted.
