The Informant 1.0

The Informant puts an icon in on the right side of your menu bar and displays an icon reflecting the three possible different states of the websites youre monitoring. A green icon means that all of your sites are online.

A yellow icon means that at least one site on the list still cannot be verified. A red icon means that at least one site on the list has been verified as offline.

By selecting the icon in the menubar, you can view all of your monitored domains with the same color-coded system applied to each individual name. So if you see a red icon in the menubar, you can view the menu and immediately see which domain or domains are the culprits. Thats it.

You can have a list of any size. You simply go to the settings window and add new domain names. These domain names are automatically added to The Informants menu and will be checked at the next interval. You can also check the status immediately from The Informants menu.

You can check your status at any interval. This interval is also set in the settings window.
