TarPit 1.2 description
TarPit creates tar archives by drag-n-drop. Also has compression options using GZip, BZip2, Compress (or none) with adjustable compression level.
TarPit also features a customizable omission list for easily excluding files from archives.
Enhancements:
- Added option for setting the cache location (for small boot partitions).
- Added option for moving originals to trash.
- Added option for pausing running jobs.
- Added option for abbreviated file-extensions.
- Added option for wildcards on omission list.
- Added option for case-sensitivity on omission list.
- Added "Tips & Tricks" to the Help menu.
- Added window to confirm quitting if there are archiving jobs still running.
- Fixed interface lag during MacBinary encoding.
- Now it is donationware (website has a PayPal link).
