Synk Backup 6.4.4

Synk Backup is a very useful tool that makes it easy to get started. Select from the most common types of backups, or drag-and-drop any set of files and folders that you want preserved.

A backup is only as good as it is up to date, so its important that it be run regularly and consistently.
Fortunately, Synk Backup integrates scheduling directly into the application, so you never have to worry about remembering to run your backup, even if youre logged out or the computer is asleep.
The greatest risk to your data is probably not the nefarious hard drive crash, lightning strike, or random corruption "its you.
How often do you wish that you could just have back last weeks version of a document, or decide that in retrospect, maybe you really shouldnt have deleted that file?
When you use Synks archiving feature, whenever a file would be replaced or deleted from the backup copy, it is tucked away for safekeeping in an archive rather than being eternally lost.
Combined with Synk 6s ZeroScan technology, which makes it fast and easy to run a lot of frequent backups, you can be more sure than ever that youll always be able to get the data you need. Even if you decided last week that you will never need it again.

- Improved scanning performance.
- Log entries in the UI now consume significantly less memory, allowing many more to appear at once without causing memory issues. (We still recommend keeping your "Keep at most __ logs for each script" preference set to a sane value, however, for general cleanliness and saving disk space...do you really need 10,000 logs?)
- Fixed a couple corner cases where ZeroScan could react incorrectly to certain odd sequences of file operations.
- Fixed an issue where ZeroScan was not being reset as it should have been when some settings were changed.
- Fixed a problem where deleting folders with locked items in them could improperly fail.
- Fixed some problems with the German localization.
