SpeedIt 1.0

SpeedIt is a OS X Kernel extension and Preference Panel application designed for real-time CPU frequency, throttling and monitoring and on-the-fly adjustment of the CPU performance level on Intel Core Duo models via processors power management model-specific registers (MSRs).
SpeedIt continuously monitors the CPU usage level and dynamically adjusts the CPU frequency, throttle and/or voltage level as needed and/or defined.
Main features:
- Real-time CPU clock and CPU/OS load level determination and monitoring.
- Detection of different forms of CPU clock throttling.
- Specific settings to solved/minimize some side bug effects found on MacBook Pro and MacBook.
- Dynamic on-demand CPU performance state (P-state) transitions via real-time adjustment of CPU multiplier (FID) and/or requested voltage level (VID).
- Dynamic on-demand CPU clock modulation via real-time transitions between CPU clock throttling levels.
- Tuning of advanced CPU power management settings for Intel Core Duo CPU.
